Articles are expected to demonstrate novelty and contribute to the development of knowledge.

2. Literature Review Articles

Articles present a critical synthesis of the scholarly literature on topics relevant to the journal's focus. Manuscripts must explain the purpose of the review, literature search and selection strategies, methods of analysis or synthesis, and key findings and contributions. For systematic reviews, authors must transparently explain the review procedures for their review and evaluation.

3. Theoretical and Conceptual Articles

Articles that develop, evaluate, or synthesize theories and concepts within the journal's scope. Manuscripts must present a strong scientific argument, utilize relevant literature, and demonstrate a clear conceptual or theoretical contribution.

General Requirements for Manuscript Submission

All manuscripts must be original, unpublished works not currently under consideration for publication in other journals. Authors must ensure data accuracy, appropriate citations and references, and adherence to research and publication ethics.

Each manuscript undergoes an initial review by an editor to assess its suitability to the journal's focus and scope, completeness of submission requirements, originality, and scientific merit. Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements will be processed through peer review in accordance with journal policies.

The decision to accept or reject is made by the editor, taking into account scientific quality, academic contribution, appropriateness of scope, and review results. Submission or initiation of the review process does not guarantee publication.

Authors must adhere to the Author Guidelines and use the official manuscript template available on the Heritage: Journal of Social Studies website. All manuscripts must adhere to the journal's writing structure and editorial requirements.
